Pocket-type cavity

In a similar manner, (5)-cthyl lactate and -(5)dihydro-3-hydroxy-4,4-dimethyl-2(3//)-l uranonc were included with high enantioselectivity. The pocket-type cavities of these inclusion crystals are similar to each other, as shown in Figure 9. 

In the inclusion compounds of such alcoholic guests with the dipeptide (2), the one-dimensional channel was not constructed, but a zero-dimensional pocket-type cavity was formed. Therefore, we wondered whether polyethylene glycol)s (PEG)... 

This type of filling can create a pocket on the thin side and compresses cavity air and gases to such a point that the rising temperature caused by compression results in the material to be charred while the pocket is filling up.

Thus, for small SA molecules, the actual binding domains of a macromolecule type SO could be multiple, but not necessarily homogeneous. They can be expressed as cavities, clefts, pockets or bay areas as described for receptor-type proteins. 

On the other hand, the X-ray crystal structure of the PCS M207G mutant clearly demonstrated that location and orientation of the residues lining the active-site cavity in the mutant are almost perfectly conserved as in the wild-type enzyme. However, the cavity volume is dramatically increased because of newly formed additional novel pockets that extend into the floor of the active-site of the wild-type... 

To insert a product it can be just immersed in a plastic liquid prior to the plastic hardening. The product could have fixed spider type supports or retractable pins or other features to support it when molten plastic is poured or injected around it. Another approach is to place the product on a layer of plastic that is partially polymerized in a mold cavity followed by applying a final layer that physically encloses it. For certain plastics and/or products a vacuum system can be used if air pockets or voids are to be eliminated.
