Using the Plot Wizard makes generating plots of these profiles quite easy. Click on Plot at the top tool bar of the Aspen Plus simulation window. Then click Plot Wizard. This...

These curves are obtained by using the Plot Wizard. As we will demonstrate in the next section, after the steady-state program has run, click on Results Summary in the Data Browser. Then click Plot on the top tool bar and select Plot Wizard. The window shown at the left in Figure 11.3 opens. Clicking the Dist Curve and hitting Next open the window shown at the right. The stream of interest and the type of curve are selected. Clicking Next and then Finish produce a plot. 

To add a graph in Mathcad, choose Insert, Graph, and the type of plot Alternatively, the user may also select the plotting wizard from the Insert > Graph menn. Mathcad offers X-Y plots, polar graphs, surface plots, contour plots, 3D scatter plots, 3D bar plots, and vector field plots. Once a type of plot has been chosen, a blank graph will appear with placeholders for the axis and the limits (please see figure 5.12). 

At the bottom of the window showing binary analysis results, you can click Plot Wizard to generate a yx plot or other plots such as activity coefficient or K value versus mole fraction. The predicted Txy and yx plots by the model can be compared to the experimental data in the literature so that you can have confidence using the Aspen built-in parameters in...
