MH is also present in small qnantities, but above the perception threshold, in wines made from Melon de Bourgogne (Schneider, 2001) and Chardonnay (Tominaga, unpublished results). It also contributes to the aroma of Chenin Blanc and Petite Arvine as well as, probably, to that of many other white grape varieties.
