Relevance is more than a unique alchemy of multiple disciplines, and requires exposure to unique and personal challenges which demand the development and exercise of a different set of competencies. These demands require more than raw and developed intelligence, and also domains of emotional intelligence which call for greater self-awareness and acquisition of distinct self-management competencies - both of which sharpen necessary attunement skills for effective relationship management (Boyatzis et al., 2002).
