Periodic acid solid-supported

Many acid-labile linkers are used to assemble combinatorial libraries. Compounds are cleaved in the final step by TFA/DCM solution with various concentrations for a certain period of time. Mild cleavage conditions may lead to incomplete cleavage of the desired compound from a solid support. On the other hand harsh conditions may cause compound degradation and side reactions. Harsh conditions will also cause the partial breakdown of resin and the leaching of unidentified impurities into the final products. Harsh cleavage conditions demand the stabihty of all compounds under such conditions. This may limit the scope of combinatorial synthesis... 

Few, if any, time on-stream performance data for HC-SCR reaction have been reported over supported Pt such as Pt-zeolites and Pt/solid acids. Iwamoto and coworkers observed small loss of initial activity of a Pt-MFI catalyst during an on-stream period of 200 h in a model exhaust gas stream containing 10% H2O after which it was no longer deactivated even for 800 h. Similar results were recently reported for 1 wt. % Pt/MFO on which less than 10% of NO conversion... 

The IL can be impregnated on an inorganic support such as silica. Silica is first activated by calcination in dry air at 500 °C. Dry impregnation of acidic liquid chloroaluminate ([BMIMjjClJ/AlClj/CuCl) is then carried out A feedstock containing 4.9% of 2-butene and 95.1% of isobutane is continuously pumped into a well-stirred reactor containing the solid catalyst over a period of300 h. The effluent contains 98.5% of Cg alkylate [30].
