Voltage drop caused by mixed potential and fuel crossover. The mixed potential at electrodes is due to unavoidable parasitic reactions that tend to lower the equilibrium electrode potential. The result leads to larger values for the contact reference-electrode voltage drop 1/ and therefore increases the inductive artifact due to the voltage divider effect (Figure 8-12).
