Package characteristics

VII.26. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that the complete combination of package characteristics will be found from available critical experiments, and critical experiments for large arrays of packages do not currently exist. Thus a sufficient variety of critical experiments should be modelled in order to adequately demonstrate that the calculational method predicts k jj to within acceptable standards for each individual experiment The experiments selected should have characteristics that are judged to be important to the k of the package (or array of packages) under normal and accident conditions. 

Package characteristics such as productivity and reliability reflect the encapsulation material properties desired by the semiconductor manufacturers. Here the relationships between properties of the material and package characteristics are discussed. 

The effects of factors like package characteristics, gas concentrations, and so on on the MA vary with the type of commodity and have been extensively reported. However, the parameters as the plant species, variety, cultural practices, maturity level at harvest, harvesting mechanism, tissue type, and postharvest handling, and so on, also affect the response of the stored produce to the modified atmosphere, whieh are difficult to define. 

Slurry preparation of the detergent formulation is considered to be the single most important factor in spray drying. Control of the raw material order of addition, slurry solids level, slurry temperatures, viscosity, and aeration enables manufacturers to deliver the desired final product characteristics. Essentially, the spray tower itself is simply a contained heat source that removes moisture at a uniform rate dependent upon the quality and the quantity of feed to the dryer. If feed variables are not controlled, variability in the density, moisture level, aging, and/or packaging characteristics increases.
