Commercial SMA resins (Xiran , Polyscope Polymers) are amorphous, random copolymers of styrene and maleic anhydride (8-30 %) that exhibit higher glass transition temperatures (20-60 °C higher) and higher heat distortion temperatures than polystyrene.
