When pressure relief devices are intended primarily for protection against overpressure due to external fire or heat, have no permanent supply connection, and are used for storage at ambient temperature of non-refrigerated liquefied compressed gases, they are excluded from requirements of Par. UG-125c (1) and C (2), with specific provisions. See ASME code [1] for detailed references and conditions. 

Production Test. In a small-scale production test, tinplate containers with two commercially available enamels and two end-sealing compounds, which were selected from the results of this study, performed satisfactorily when packed with beef and ham. Beef was irradiated with 4.5-5.6 Mrad at 5, —30, and —90°C ham was irradiated with 3-4 Mrad and 6-7.5 Mrad at —30°C. For this production test, beef and ham were packaged in round tinplate containers and ham in Pullman tinplate containers, frozen and refrigerated products were shipped 1,200 miles by truck, and were gamma irradiated at various doses and temperatures. Irradiated products were shipped 1,200 miles in a non-refrigerated truck and stored at selected temperatures and humidities. The integrity of the cans was evaluated after storage for 10 days, 3 months, and 6 months.

In non-refrigerated pressure vessels-perhaps cooled by water spray and/or painted with reflecting paint. The storage pressure corresponds to ammonia vapour pressure at ambient temperature. The storage vessels, often referred to as bullets , are usually cylinders capacity is generally low, below about 2001. Non-refrigerated spherical pressure vessels with capacities up to 15001 ammonia have been used [833]. 

SW-846 storage requirements. The temperature in the refrigerators and walk-in coolers is measured and recorded daily it is adjusted if deviations are observed. Only laboratory personnel have access to sample storage areas, which are locked during non-business hours as a security measure. Laboratory personnel retrieve samples from cold storage only for the purpose of analysis. The laboratory will keep expired analyzed samples in cold storage for a short period of time (usually 2-4 weeks) and then will dispose of them in a legally responsible manner. 

Cyclopentane is widely used in producing non-CFC refrigerators, freezers and cold storage and tubing insulating materials.
