The lithium enolates of cyclopentanone and cyclohexanone undergo addition-elimination to the 2,2-dimethylpropanoic acid ester of ( )-2-nitro-2-hepten-l-ol to give 2-(l-butyl-2-nitro-2-propenyl)cycloalkanones with modest diastereoselection. An analogous reaction of the enolate ion of cyclohexanone with the 2,2-dimethylpropanoic acid ester of (Z)-2-nitro-3-phenyl-2-propenol to give 2-(2-nitro-l-phenyl-2-propenyl)cyclohexanones was also reported. The relative configuration of these products was not however determined6.

Die Reduktion von a-Nitro-sulfonen mit 3-Aminocarbonyl-1-benzyl-1,4-dihydro-pyridin gelingt auch unter Belichtung in sehr guten Ausbeuten z.B. reagiert l-Nitro-2-phenyl-1-phenylsulfonyl-ethan zu 2-Nitro-l-phenyl-ethan (62%) ... 

Analog erhalt man aus 2-Nitro-l-phenyl-propan und l,3-Diphenyl-3-oxo-propen 4-Me-thyl-4-nitro-l-oxo-l,3,5-triphenyI-pentan (R1 = CH3, R2 = CH2 — C6H, R3 = R4 = CJI6) (75% Schmp, 175,5-176°)6.

Z)-l -Nitro-l-alkene werden in Diethylether an En-amine addiert3- u. Die Additionsreak-tion verlauft weitgehend diastereo- und enantioselektiv. Durch saure Hydrolyse kann das Amin nach der Addition abgespaltcn werden und man erhalt ein Keton. So reagiert 2-Morpholino-3,4-dihydro-naphthalin mit (Z)-2-Nitro-l-phenyl-ethen zu l-(2-Nitro-l-phe-nyl-ethyl) -2-oxo-tetralin. 

Als Nebenprodukt wird 3-(2-Nitro-l-phenyl-ethyl)-2-oxo-tetralin (Schmp. 127-129°) erhalten. Produkt zu Nebenprodukt entstehen im Verhaltnis 4 1. 

Ahnlich kann l-Brom-l-nitro-2-phenyl-ethenmitz. B. Natriummethanolat zu 1,1-Dimeth-oxy-2-nitro-l-phenyl-elhan2 (78%) umgesetzt werden. Als Nebenprodukt wird 2-Nitro-1-oxo-1-phenyl-ethan (18%)3 erhalten ... 

Mit Natriumdecanolat bzw. Natrium-phenylmethanolat erhalt man entsprechend 1,1-Di-decyloxy-2-nitro-l-phenyl-ethm (83%) bzw. l,l-Dibenzyloxy-2-nitro-l-phenyl-ethan (82 %)3.
