Hampl et al. (1995) synthesized some already known and new AChE reactivators derived from pyridinecarbaldoxime (Figure 66.17) and pyridazineearbaldoxime (Figure 66.18) using it for the purpose of eleavage of mimic nerve agent. 

Symptoms of inappropriate or unintentional use (or accidental overdosage) of atropine autoinjectors used to treat nerve agent poisoning may mimic QNB exposure. However, marked confusion from atropine is not normally seen until a total of six or seven autoinjectors have been given. 

The sympathomimetic or adrenergic or adrenomimetic drugs mimic the effects of adrenergic sympathetic nerve stimulation. These are the important group of therapeutic agents which may be used to maintain blood pressure and in certain cases of severe bronchial asthma. 

Methacholine, carbachol, and bethanechol are all agents that mimic the effects of stimulation of cholinergic nerves. 

Curare mimics acetylcholine by binding to receptor at muscle synapses, preventing nerves from stimulating muscular contraction and causing death by respiratory paralysis. It is a neuromuscular nondepolarizing agent and a nicotinic antagonist.
