Nature of time

Em always fascinated by scientific and cultural studies of the nature of time and space. Ever since H. G. Wells 1895 publication of The Time Machine— which described a four-dimensional spacetime with duration being a dimension like height, width and thickness—people have been wondering why we can t travel in time as we do in space. If time is like space, then in some sense the past may literally still exist back there as surely as New York still exists even after I have left it. If we could travel in time as easily as we do in space, imagine how our lives would be... 

Since the nature of time is itself an unresolved question, we take a simple approach in order to arrive at a mechanism generating the flow of an object through time. ...

The role of theory has been essential from concepmal as well as from a predictive point of view. Time-resolved observations are strongly dependent on the experimental conditions, such as laser wavelengths, duration of pulses and their shapes, competition between one- and many-photon processes, strength of the electric field, and so on. Here theory has the task not only to provide insight into the nature of time-dependent processes, but also to identify the conditions under which they can be experimentally observed [19-21, 44—55]. 

Stoynov and collaborators 19.197-199 developed mathematical methods for identifying structures and parameters from impedance data. They also used spectral analysis, which could identify the number and nature of time constants existing in the system. 

If we try to draw the logical portrait of the space-time problem fiom Vernadsky s viewpoint, then we better start with space because, with few exceptions, it is possible to propose that Vernadsky made the first and principal generalisations regarding space-time thinking about the nature of space, and then extrapolated the inferences to the nature of time.
