N-Oleyl palmitamide

Secondary monoamides particularly are preferred. A particularly preferred secondary monoamide is N-oleyl palmitamide, an amide with a double bond geometry. Preferably the amide is incorporated into the plasticized PVB at a concentration of 0.1-0.3%. The glass adhesion of a PVB sheet produced from the formulated pellets is substantially unaffected by the presence of the amide antiblocking agent. [Pg.58]

N,N -ethylene bisoleamide and N,N -ethylene bisstearamide have not been thoroughly investigated for their toxicological and environmental properties. It is only suggested that they may cause irritation of eyes and skin. Similar lack of data exists in the case of oleamide, oleyl palmitamide, stearyl erucamide, and tallow amide. A few studies conducted on stearamide show that it is unlikely to be a toxic material. [Pg.304]
