Multi-component preparative chromatograph

Analysis strategies that use on-line ESI-LC/MS approaches provide an integrated format for natural product dereplication by combining traditional fraction collection, sample preparation, and multi-component analysis into a single step. In this way, crude extracts are screened without extensive purification and chemical analysis. Furthermore, less material is required due to the sensitivity of the technique and chromatographic resolution is retained. [Pg.3421]

Along with the matrix RMs, a series of other quality control tools such as calibrants and standard solutions was also produced. On the occasion of the first set of reference materials, calibrants for trace elements and major components were also prepared and sent to the laboratories in order to minimize the differences in results produced by the use of different calibrants. For the other two sets of materials, multi component standard solutions for PAHs and pesticides were prepared and distributed in order to check the analytical performance of the chromatographic methods used. [Pg.337]

The most simple and still fairly reliable method to measure multi-component gas adsorption equilibria is the volumetric-chromatographic method. The basic installation for this method is sketched in Figure 1. It basically consists of a gas storage vessel of volume (Vsv) and an adsorption chamber of volume (Vac) filled with adsorbent of mass (m ) and provided with proper tubing and valves to allow gas circulation and evacuation. The gas (mixture) is first prepared in the storage vessel and then expanded to the adsorption vessel where it is partly adsorbed in the sorbent material. [Pg.59]

The popular multi-component methods with short sample preparation and extract clean-up such as QuEChERS require special care for the chromatographic... [Pg.108]
