Mounting position

Standard. Advise mounting position vertical, horizontal, wall, etc. (Some motors cannot be mounted other than horizontal because of bearing and/or lubrication arrangements without special provisions. Others are universal mounted, and still others can be suitably modified in the field.)... 

The loading on each roll is generated by the belt, wire mesh, and/or transported product. The amount and distribution of the load varies depending on the wrap of the carried load. Wrap refers to the angular distance around the roll that touches the belt, wire mesh, or product. In most conveyor systems, the load is relatively uniform and is in a downward direction. In this case, the traditional vertical, horizontal, and axial mounting positions are acceptable.

The overall objective is to arrest the decay, stabilize the artifact, and return it to a standing or near originaF mount position. The material project was to remove deleterious spurious materials, fill voids with appropriate materials, and to enhance the strength of the intrinsic artifact. Because of the serious state of diminution and the extreme exhibition load, a complex system of consolidation was designed to transfer the total load to a rigid heli-arced aluminum brace.

The mounting position of the heat pipe determines the performance. Best performance is in the vertical working position with overhead temperature control (cooling) (Figure 2.93).

In any case, attention should be paid to the specifications of each manufacturer. The heat dissipation is limited and usually cannot be compared to a liquid temperature control, but it can be many times higher than that of a solid copper rod. It has been proven by studies that the horizontal mounting position (Figure 2.94) cannot physically work. Some manufacturers and users say the opposite. They say it is only possible with appropriately modified systems that allow a natural circulation of evaporating gases despite the horizontal mounting position.
