The additives employed in field of plastic moulding achieve effects which meet the complex demands of this moulding technology by the mode of their contact with the particle surface and their constitutionally determined effects. Plasticizing effects are achieved by the functional groups of polyether, polymeric alcohol and fatty acid preparations. 

These materials are especially suitable for injection moulding technology and have been industrially used for compostable cutleries. 

The polyurethane dosing and foaming section of this plant is equipped with a moulding technology that allows chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) blowing agents to be replaced with liquid carbon dioxide. This helps reduce the density of the polyurethane considerably and thus saves on material costs. 

A major influence on the choice of material is now being played by downsizing and, more importantly, thin-wall moulding technology, bringing more demanding requirements for properties.
