A second key principle of measures in the Six Sigma environment is that all the measures should be openly visible. Openly displaying aU measures on charts and graphs is a primary motivator toward the correct response. 

A readily available and abundant resource for examples on how to engineer proteins is Nature itself. The mechanisms of natural protein evolution have repeatedly succeeded in adapting protein function to ever changing environments. Understanding the principles and motives whereby new protein structures and functions emerge can provide useful guidelines for protein engineering. This chapter is directed towards the mechanisms of natural protein evolution, their implications on structure and function, and their experimental implementation in vitro. 

Management, in conjunction with the workforce, should go to the point of action, carry out inspections, hold discussions, and determine exactly what work needs to be done to make the work environment safer and healthier (by identifying and mitigating the identified risks). Listening to the workers is invalnable in this regard. A baseline safety audit would assist this process. The identification of work to be done to train, guide, educate, and motivate workers toward safe work practices should also be considered.
