For all procedures and testing methods reference must be made to the applicable Standards in order to avoid any confusion (Eurocode, British Standards, ASTM, etc.). [Pg.463]

For the duration of the Contract the Contractor shall install, calibrate and maintain an approved automatic recording tide gauge. The tide recorder shall be installed at a location as close as possible to the project area and accurately levelled and related to the Reference Level. [Pg.464]

The Contractor shall submit details of his proposed method of position fixing for the approval of the Client before any reclamation or survey work is commenced. [Pg.464]

All soundings shall be carried out by means of a recording trace dual frequency echo-sounder with sufficient sensitivity to permit measurement of the bed levels to an accuracy of +/-100 mm. The echo sounding equipment shall be regularly calibrated by means of a sounding plate. [Pg.464]
