Method limit of quantitation

The method limit of quantitation and limit of detection must be determined as well as the limit of linearity. The limit of quantitation is defined as the level at which the measurement is quantitatively meaningful the limit of detection is the level at which the measurement is larger than the uncertainty and the limit of linearity is the upper level of the measurement rehabihty (39). These limits are determined by plotting concentration vs response.

This enforcement method has been validated on the (raw agricultural commodities) (RAC) and processed parts of various crops. The method limit of quantitation (LOQ) was validated at 0.05 mg kg and the method limit of detection (LOD) was set at 0.01 mgkg for all of the crop matrices. The method flow chart is presented in Figure 1.
