Methane seasonal distributions

Seasonal distributions of methane are discussed in the chapter by J.D. Cline et al.. 

Season distributions of methane also show that methane is a qualitative descriptor of mean current flows in Unimak Pass, along the North Aleutian shelf, and in the near-bottom waters of St.

Distributions of dissolved methane in the southeastern Bering Sea were made in 1975-76 and again 1980-81. These observations show large seasonal and inter-annual variations that appear to be related to the magnitude and timing of primary production.
