Polyurethane hydrogels derived from UV curable urethane prepolymer and hydrophilic monomers were prepared and their properties were evaluated. Silane coupling agents such as gamma-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane have also been tried, by grafting them onto nanosilica particles.
