Information on dioxins in the environment was acquired rapidly by using some simple, but safe and reliable techniques developed for chlorinated pesticdes. Based on results of these tests, one should be able to predict whether routes of entry into aquatic and terrestrial food chains are significant, the rate and products of decomposition mechanism, and their general longevity in the environment. 

For about 500 years black powder enjoyed dominance as a propellant, explosive and igniter, and as the major firework ingredient its use remains unsurpassed. The prime reason for the longevity of black powder is its quickness , even at relatively low pressures, and this is brought about by manufacturing techniques (as described earlier) and the chemical reactivity of the constituents. 

Stringent control of environmental conditions and proper animal care techniques are mandatory for meaningful results. Diet should meet all nutritional requirements of the species used in the tests. It is important to know the effect of the dietary regimen on metabolism and animal longevity as well as toxicity development. Variations in worldwide use patterns of industrial and agricultural chemicals preclude harmonization on one list of dietary contaminants. 

All the ordinary extrusion and molding equipment and techniques can be used to process PVDF into different shapes ranging from pipes, fitting, parts, solid rods and sheets, to thin films. Longevity of equipment can be extended using special alloys on the surface that is in contact with molten PVDF, but usually it is not necessary. PVDF based polymers are available commercially in a wide range of melt flow index and with additives to enhance processing or end use properties. However, both homopolymers and copolymers may be shaped from the molten state without extrusion aids or thermal stabilizers.
