Licensing system introduction

The most notable development for the magnetite system was the introduction of cobalt as an additional component by ICI in 1984 [395], [396]. The cobalt-enhanced catalyst formula was first used in an ammonia plant in Canada using ICI Catalco s AMV process (later also in other AMV license plants) and is also successfully applied in ICl s LCA plants in Severnside.

Other examples of those in clinical use include fenbufen, flurbiprofen, ketoprofen, naproxen and oxaprozin. An international comparison shows that the introduction of cellular telephony and the introduction of competition varies internationally (Table 4-4). Most European countries only granted licenses to private operators in the 1990s, when the digital systems became available and after the EU commission recommended competition (Paetsch 1993). Although the time of introduction of cellular telephony is seen in this thesis as endogenous, the time of introduction of competition can explain some deviations from the correlation between start of cellular service and market penetration.
