Tissue accumulation of exogenously added tritiated PGs was shown for the spider crab Libinia emarginata [107]. Other biological properties have been identified for methyl famesoate and cmstecdysone, in particular the control of ovarian maturation in the shrimp Penaeus vannamei (Chan, 1995), osmoregulation in the crab Carcinus mamas (Lovett et al., 2001), and growth and differentiation in the spider crab Libinia emarginata (Laufer et al., 2002).
