Adduct isocyanate

Some low molecular adducts are used in plasticization of polycarbonate  [Pg.56]

These compounds are added in veiy small quantities (0.5 to 1 phr) but these small amounts increase melt flow index by up to 60% and slightly improve impact strength.  [Pg.56]

Polyurethane-based plasticizers can be obtained as a product of hydrolysis of poly-methane scrap as described elsewhere for material from printing rollers. These plasticizers were used to modify acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber. In still another development, diurethane was used in polyurethane elastomers. Addition of diurethane improved potlife, and mechanical properties. The plasticizer performed better than DOP and it was substantially less migrating than DOP.  [Pg.57]

Rearrangement involving cleavage of the C—O bond is also observed with the phenyl isocyanate adduct (59). In place of an O-acylated nitrone its product (60) of acyl migration is isolated (67JPR(36)86). [Pg.205]

Smooth acylaminations are also given by isocyanate adducts of 3-phenyloxaziridine. Ammonia and primary as well as secondary amines form the corresponding semicarbazides, e.g. (102). Owing to the fast amination reaction, shortlived substances like triazanes become accessible, e.g. the cyclohexyl compound (103), which is stable for only a few minutes at room temperature. [Pg.210]

A-Carbamoyldiaziridines can open the three-membered ring and recyclize through the carbamoyl nitrogen, as demonstrated in a benzoyl isocyanate adduct (74JOC3198) and in the formation of (140) (79JOC3935). [Pg.214]

Aliphatic hyperbranched polyesters, 56 Aliphatic isocyanate adducts, 202 Aliphatic isocyanates, 210, 225 Aliphatic polyamides, 138 Aliphatic polyesteramides, 56 Aliphatic polyesters, 18, 20, 29, 32, 87 degradable, 85 hyperbranched, 114-116 melting points of, 33, 36 structure and properties of, 40-44 syntheses of, 95-101 thermal degradation of, 38 unsubstituted and methyl-substituted, 36-38... [Pg.576]

The 1,3,5-thiadiazepine (559) has been prepared by the thermal rearrangement of the [4 + 2] cycloadduct (558) of the azirine (557) and thiobenzoyl isocyanate (74JOC3763). The benzoyl isocyanate adduct does not rearrange to give an oxadiazepine. [Pg.646]

A modifi work up of the alkene-iodine isocyanate adducts (Section 3.S.6.4), yields imidazolinones (Scheme 44). ... [Pg.486]

The reaction of bis(tributyltin) oxide is more complicated and gives the oxide-isocyanate adduct by the sequence of addition and elimination reactions ... [Pg.728]

Isothiocyanates react rapidly, but bis(tributyl)tin sulfide is eliminated, and the same oxide-isocyanate adduct is formed, probably by the route shown in equation 12-14. [Pg.184]

The isocyanate adducts 55 isomerize to form the 0-acylated oximes 56. In one case isomerization to diacylimide 57 was observed in the presence of cyclohexylamine. ... [Pg.78]

N-Acylimines do not yield 1,3-addition products even with the strongly dipolarophilic isocyanates [Eq. (11) ]80, but, as for 1,2-diphenylcyclo-propenone,145 the oxygen atom of the acylimino group is attacked. Whereas the isocyanate adduct is stable, the cyclopropenone adduct 101 reacts further as indicated in Eq. (17). [Pg.247]

When esters 97 (R =H, CH2Ph) were reacted with phenyl or methyl isothiocyanate or isocyanate, adducts 100 were formed in excellent yields. Ring closure of 100 (R =H) took place without difficulty when it was refluxed in dilute hydrochloric acid, resulting in pyrimidinones 101 and... [Pg.291]

Coating powders for exterior use are mainly based on the SP-TGIC system. Of some importance is the SP-PUR system, i.e., the combination of hydroxy-functional polyester resins with caprolactam-blocked isocyanate adducts (primarily based on isophorone diisocyanate). The newly developed SP-HAA and SP-glycidyl estermix systems avoid the problems of TGIC as regards toxicology. Acrylic resins are of importance mainly in the United States (AY-PUR) and in Japan (AY-DDA). The AY-PUR system is used for automotive components and in domestic appliances. The PUR systems based on uretdione (a dimerization product of isocyanates) do not... [Pg.118]
