Ion Chromatography-Capillary Electrophoresis

Yeung and Lucy were able to obtain isotopic separations of N-labeled amines from the natural N-amines [15]. Their approach was to increase Ap relative to the overall mobility  [Pg.219]

An easy way to separate ions on the basis of both their electrophoretic and ion-exchange behavior is simply to add a water-soluble ion-exchange polymer to the BGE in a conventional CE setup. This idea was originally proposed by Terabe and Isemura [Pg.219]

A computer program was compiled to work out the ray-tracing of UV detector of high performance capillary electrophoresis at the investigation of 5 and 6 (98MI59). The capacity factor of 5 at different temperature and at different mobile phase compositions was experimentally determined in bonded-phase chromatography with ion suppression (98MI15). [Pg.266]

In addition to chromatography based on adsorption, ion pair chromatography (IP-HPLC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE) or capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) are new methods that became popular and are sufficiently accurate for these types of investigations. Other methods involving electrochemical responses include differential pulse polarography, adsorptive and derived voltammetry, and more recently, electrochemical sensors. [Pg.534]
