There are a few food monitoring studies in the literature that provide several examples of food contamination with 1,1,1-trichloroethane. The ubiquitous nature of 1,1,1-trichloroethane suggests that additional information in this area would allow a complete determination ofthe levels of human exposure to this chlorinated solvent. The release of 1,1,1-trichloroethane to the environment is well established since there are numerous studies that indicate the presence of this compound in environmental media. The quantity of 1,1,1-trichloroethane released to the environment during its production, formulation, and use is known. 1,1,1-Trichioroethane is listed on the Toxics Release Inventory. The reactor coolant inventory method is used to detect large volume leakage over a period of steady state operation by continuously monitoring the net makeup flow to the Reactor Coolant System (RCS). Since letdown flov/ and the reactor coolant pump seal bleedoff flow are collected by the Chemical and Volume Control System and recycled back into the RCS, net makeup flow should be zero when there is no leakage. Integrated net makeup flow is trended in the Control Room by the Nuplex 80+ Data Processing System (DPS). 

In Hamburg s district of Bergedorf a strategy project was carried out focusing on bioresource inventories from the waste and wastewater sector. The study area consists of a multitude of different area structures including rural, urban, and commercial areas, making it suitable model case. The inventory was very detailed and time-consuming.Various inventory methods were applied, combined and results shown for a lot of mainly tertiary and quaternary bioresources. 

SACRI (Situation Awareness Control Room Inventory) method (Hogg et al. 1995) is an adaptation of SAGAT method to assess situation awareness in control rooms.
