An improved sensitivity version of the invasive signal amphfication assay was described with a hmit of detection (LOD) of zeptomole (10 mol) levels of a taiget DNA in homogeneous format.

Increase in pit level. This is a definite signal of formation fluid invasion into the hole. The well must be closed as soon as ptossible. 

Ras is a G protein that cycle between two conformations, an activated Ras-GTP or inactivated form Ras-GDP. Ras, attached to the cell membrane by lipidation, is a key component in many signalling cascades, which couple growth factor receptors to downstream effectors that control such processes as cytoskeletal integrity, proliferation, cell adhesion, apoptosis and cell migration. Mutations and dysregulations of the Ras protein leading to increased invasion and metastasis, and decreased apoptosis are very common in cancers. 

NMR signals are highly sensitive, via a number of different mechanisms, to the physical and chemical properties of porous materials. Using the set of NMR-based measurement methods that we have developed, it is possible to non-invasively and non-destructively characterize both the microstructural properties of the materials and relaxation properties of fluids imbibed into these materials.
