Although sheet of a fairly substantial thickness, from about iin (6 mm) upwards, would be required for such depth of formings, a sandwich construction comprising inner and outer formed sheets filled with injected polyurethane foam will provide an extremely rigid tough yet lightweight construction which can if necessary have a cross section of several inches.
