Hence, even if either model does not seem to be completely accurate at conceptualizing the research subject s situation, there might be something appealing in both characterizations as victim and as contractor. This is why 1 believe they should not be dismissed. What we can say is that, as a possible contractor, her autonomy and consent should be sought.
