Indexing device

All motions are insured by six stepping motors sequentially driven by a programmable translator-indexer device fitted with a power multiplexer. 

Metal plate, squeegee to remove excess ink, conicalshaped transfer pad, indexing device to move parts into printing area, dryers, depending on type of operation.

Precise Motion Transmission. Many applications use gears as a means for precise transmission of motion. Usually, more precise accuracy grades are required for these gears. Examples of such apphcations are navigational tracking, telescopes, printing presses, and index devices for machine tools. 

Make sure that the threads on regula-tor-to-cylinder valve connections or the pin-indexing devices on yoke-to-cylinder valve connections are properly mated. Never force connections that do not fit. 

Commercial resins are routinely supplied with melt flow rate information that is indicative of the fluo-ropolymer viscosity at a single temperature, often at a low shear rate. ASTM D 1238 is the recognized universal measurement procedure. The schematic in Fig. 7.36 shows a basic melt indexer device. In this technique, a known weight is applied to a melt reservoir to force the melt out of a nozzle for a predetermined length of time. The results are reported as the mass per unit time of melt that has been discharged through the nozzle (g/10 min). This number provides an easy technique for comparing a number of samples in a relatively short time.
