Fertility Impairment A significant reduction in number of corpora lutea with consequent reduction in implantations and live fetuses was observed at 155 times the maximum recommended human dose. 

Fertility impairment Raloxifene delayed and disrupted embryo implantation resulting in prolonged gestation and reduced litter size. 

Fertility Impairment In a fertility study in rats, estrous cyclicity was disrupted and numbers of corpora lutea, implantations, and live embryos were reduced in females receiving the highest dose (approximately 2 times the maximum recommended human dose on a mg/m basis). 

Cermakian We have done almost the reverse experiments with fibroblast implants from Clock l mutants whose clock is quite impaired. When we put these fibroblast implants into mice whose SCN is functional, the SCN was not able to entrain them. So I don t think that a grafted SCN will be able to entrain peripheral tissues of these Crj double mutants. 

Other CMV infections IV Initially, 10mg/kg/dayindivideddosesql2hfor 14-21 days, then 5 mg/kg/day as a single daily dose. Maintenance 1000 mg 3 times a day or 500 mg q3h (6 times a day). Intravitreal implant 1 implant q6-9mo plus oral ganciclovir. Dosage in renal impairment Dosage and frequency are modified based on creatinine clearance. 

Xenobiotics can adversely affect the normal functions of the cells/organs of the reproductive system. These agents may induce a variety of outcomes, including prevention of ovulation and impairment of ovum transport, fertilization, or implantation. Endocrine disruptors may mimic endogenous hormones as well as directly destroy cellular components, leading to cell death. More indirect effects may include inhibition of key enzymes involved in steroid synthesis. 

The oral bioavailability of many of these hormones is reduced because of first-pass metabolism however, the parenteral routes, e.g. etonorgestrel (ENG) subdermal implant, provide almost 100% bioavailability. Gestodene and norgestimate are highly lipophilic and therefore absorption may be impaired in cholestasis. Medroxyprogesterone injection has a slow absorption from the injection site, which provides the product with its long duration of action [7, 11].
