Once you have completed the installation procedure you can run the program by selecting the MEN program icon from the Start Menu (Windows 95) or from the program group (Windows 3.1). [Pg.309]

As an initial (demonstration) application of the Icon/1000 control system, we automated two simultaneous acrylic lab polymerizations. Start the 1D WIN-NMR program and set-up the four MDI/application windows display as shown in Fig. 4.3 by clicking the MDI system menu button. Activate the four windows one after the other and inspect the corresponding button panels and menu bars. Iconize two of the windows and rearrange the other two so that each fills half of the display. To do this use the title bar and/or the window frames or use the Tile option in the Window pull-down menu. Check the functionality of the minimize/maximize button and of the options offered in one of the system menus.
