Three new correlated peptidic alkaloids (lipodepsipeptides), LL-15G2568 (136), -e (137) and -y(138), were isolated from the fermentation broth and cells of the LL-15G256 strain of Hypoxylon oceanicum Schatz, (Xylariaceae) [87,139]. All of them contain D-glutamate, L-serine and the rare amino acid P-ketotryptophan. In their studies of the optimal fermentation conditions of Hypoxylon oceanicum (Ascomycotina, Xylariaceae), Abbanat et al. [188] also established that a high NaCl concentration (from 0% to 90% sea water in the medium) is not favorable for accumulation of L-15G256Y (133), a lipodepsipeptide.
