Humanized CAR Mice

David Moore s group reported the creation of the humanized CAR mice. CAR also shows species difference in ligand specificity. TCPOBOP activates mouse CAR potently but does not activate the human CAR [55]. On the contrary, CITCO (6-(4-chlorophenyl)imidazo[2,l- ][l,3]thiazole-5-carbaldehyde C-(3,4-dichlorobenzyl)oxime) was identified as a specific human CAR agonist [56].
