Holistic paradigm

From a theoretical standpoint the criteria provided in Chapter 1 of this book have not changed what has changed is the setting or landscape of these criteria. Associated with each criterion the reader will find a note that will either propose no change, suggest a clarification, or updates the criterion to be consistent with a holistic paradigm .

The Mo-Tp and Mo-Tp chemistry summarized in Scheme 6 represents a unique, holistic model of an important paradigm in Mo-MPT enzymes, the coupling of OAT and CEPT reactions during substrate turnover. 

A theoretical foundation of molecular similarity analysis is the assumption of neighborhood behavior ,which refers to the tendency of molecules with globally similar structures to exhibit similar biological activity. The well-known similarity-property principle (SPP) of Johnson and Maggiora expresses this paradigm and promotes a holistic view of molecular structure and properties. Molecular similarity applications assume that chemical similarity can be related to biological activity in a meaningful manner. However, the success of this approach ultimately depends on the way molecular similarity is defined. 

As proposed by CIRP, a holistic overarching multilevel dynamic paradigm addressing a sustainable development is Competitive Sustainable Manufacturing (CSM) (Jovane et al. 2008), where manufacturing has to cover the entire product/services life cycle (Yoshikawa 2008), including enabling processes and business models (Fig. 1). 

As a fashion designer by background, it is both fantastic and quite natural for me to find myself actively involved in fashion s practical and political dimensions. I have found myself in action in the House of Lords, in sample rooms, and in public places and in classrooms. Even as we need to find application for its creative and technical possibilities, the critical core of fashion lies in its ethics, values, and the will to shift from a current paradigm of partial success (that is actually contributing to major failure ) to create fashion for holistic prosperity. ...
