High Chemical Loading

Then rotary raced veneers treated with DFAP chemicals were used instead of surface compressed wood. They have a lot of small cracks inside from their production and chemicals can penetrate easily through these cracks by capillarity and high chemicals loading can be gained. It was tried to use for the core of fire door s panels.

The main mechanisms of hearth bottom wear are high heat load, chemical attack, erosion from molten Hquids, mechanical and thermal stress, and penetration because of ferrostatic and process pressure. A variety of special purpose carbons have been developed to minimize or eliminate the damage caused by these wear mechanisms. 

In the pendent chain systems, the dmg is chemically bound to a polymer backbone and is released by hydrolytic or enzymatic cleavage of the chemical bond. The dmg may be attached directiy to the polymer or may be linked via a spacer group. The spacer group may be used to affect the rate of dmg release and the hydrophilicity of the system. These systems allow very high dmg loadings (over 80 wt %) (89) which decrease the cost of the polymeric materials used ia the systems. These systems have beea examiaed by many iavestigators (111,112). 

Of the top ten most frequently reported toxic chemicals on the TRI list, the prevalence of volatile chemicals explains the air intensive toxic chemical loading of the refining industry. Nine of the ten most commonly reported toxic chemicals are highly volatile. Seven of the ten are aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, toluene, xylene, cyclohexane, 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene, and ethylbenzene). 

The implementation of these steps into a dyehouse reduces the chemical load of the released wastewater considerably. In particular the replacement of substances that exhibit high toxicity or very low biodegradabUity will facilitate the following efficient treatment of the wastewater.
