Hallucinogenic drugs metal complexes

Few attempts have been made to study formation of metal complexes by hallucinogenic drugs, but available data suggest that under physiological conditions there are no strong tendencies. Diazepam (a tranquilizer) binds to metals via nitrogen and forms well-defined complexes MLjXj, M = Cu , or ML3X4, M = Co ", Ni ", X = CP, Br , L = diazepam.
