and Raman data show there to be two isomers of Fl2Fe[PPh(OEt)2]4 present in solution. The predominant isomer above 0 °C is the cis-octahedral form and the o ther isomer, which is present at low temperatures, is thought to have a structure based on a very slightly distorted FeP4 tetrahedron with hydrogen atoms in either a face-face or face-edge arrangement.209 

Solvent effects on the redox potential of the Fe(CN)6 -Fe(CN)6 system have been studied. A kinetic study of substitution into [(NQ4Fe(CN)(NQFe(CN)4] by HCN, pyridine, or 4-methylpyridine (X) indicates the following mechanism

The complex (32), reported last year by Muetterties, has also been prepared by treatment of FeCl2(Me3P)2 with magnesium and excess Me3P in THF.
