Graph labels

On graph paper, draw and label the axes of the graph. Label the y-axis Temperature (°C). Label the x-axis Time (min). ... 

Avoid including more than five curves per graph. Label all curves clearly. Leave sufficient space between curves so that they are easily distinguishable. 

Isothermal differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) tests were performed on three unsaturated polyester (UPE) samples at three different temperatures (100°C, 110°C, and 120°C). The stability valley of nudei. The vertical projection of the bottom of the valley on the Z x A plane follows the line of stable nuclei (cf. Fig. 2.7 in Chap. 2) at an "altitude" expressed by the ratio of the nudidic mass (M) and the mass number (A). The horizontal projection of the bottom of the valley onto the (M/A) x A plane is essentially the same as the graph labeled "experimental" in Fig. 2.3 in Chap. 2, except that it is upside down. The isobaric cross sections of the valley are parabolic as a consequence of the Weizsacker formula (2.3) in Chap. 2. (See also the legend of Fig. 7.2 in this chapter, as well as Fig. 14.5 in Chap. 14, Vol. 2.) The local dips marked are related to magic numbers (Ca N=20 Fe-Ni A/=28, Z= 28 Y A(=50 Ba Af=82). Beta decay occurs all along the valley. On the near side of the valley decay is predominant, on the far side decay and electron capture (EC) compete with each other as indicated on the parabola. Alpha decay occurs for A > 60 mainly on the far side of the valley... 

To make a line graph, draw the horizontal (x) and vertical (y) axes of your graph. Label the y-axis with the independent variable and the x-axis with the dependent variable. (Refer to your data table to determine the scale and appropriate units for each axis). Plot each data pair, and then connect the data points to make a line, or curve. Finally, give the graph a title that clearly indicates the relationship between the data shown by the graph.

The graphs labeled (a) and (b) show the titration curves for two equal-volume samples of monoprotic acids, one weak and one strong. Both titrations were carried out with the same concentration of strong base. 

Choose a suitable set of coordinate axes and draw these in over lines presently on the graph paper. Be sure to clearly mark and number the main divisions along each axis and to choose a correct scale so that the data does not run off the graph. Label each axis and include the units of the measured values in parentheses after the label— for example, P (atm), V (cc), or T ( C). It is customary also to include a title that...
