Barney and his sons started uprooting the old vines and replanting with Cabernet Sauvignon and the native American Zinfandel. I selected Zinfandel and Pinot Noir for two reasons First, these are fine wines deserving attention, and second, as recent DNA studies have shown, both these wines can be traced to Croatian coastal regions.
