Grand Teton National Park. Work at the Museum of Zoology (Moscow) and Institute of Zoology (Leningrad) was supported by the Academies of Sciences of the USA and USSR. 

Study site. The experiment was conducted at Allegheny State Park, Cattaraugus County, New York, an area of exceptionally high beaver population density with 1.03 colonies per stream kilometer (col/km). This compares with 0.9 col/km in an unexploited population in Grand Teton National Park (Collins, 1976) or 0.63 col/km in Alaska (also unexploited Boyce, 1981).

The Wyoming State Plan applies to all public and private sector places of employment in the State, with the exception of Federal employees (including those employed at Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks), the United States Postal Service (USPS), private sector maritime, employment at Warren Air Force Base and at the Naval Petroleum and Oil Shale Reserve in Casper, and certain agricultural related operations (field sanitation and temporary labor camps), which are subject to Federal OSHA jurisdiction. In addition to technical work, he has three de Nevers s Laws in a Murphy s Law compilation and won the title Poet Laureate of Jello Salad in a Salt Lake City competition, with three limericks and a quatrain. He has climbed the Grand Teton, Mt. Rainer, Mt. Whimey, Kala Patar and Mt. Kilimanjaro, and is the official discoverer of Private Arch in Arches National Park.
