Glyceryl phosphorylcholine

Phosphatidylserine, L-a-glyceryl-phosphorylcholine, and cytidine diphosphate choline have shown positive effects. 

Phosphatidic acid was hydrolyzed by the preparation, as was5 -glyceryl-3-P, but glyceryl phosphorylcholine and phosphorylcholine were not. 

A ubiquitous phospholipid mediator (acetyl-glyceryl-ether-phosphorylcholine) in inflammation. Among others, it stimulates platelet aggregation and causes swelling, smooth contraction or dilation and neutrophil activation.

Platelet activating factor (PAF) is a bioactive phospholipid, 1-0-hexadecyl or octa-decyl -2-acetyl-iy -glyceryl-3-phosphorylcholine.
