Glucose determination with implantable sensors

The glycemia after an intraveneous injection of glucose in a dog is shown, as determined with a Beckman analyzer from blood samples. The current response of a subcutaneously implanted sensor to the same injection is also shown. The sensor had been in place for 10 days at die time of this test, and was polarized at 0.7 V vs Ag/AgQ for several hours every 2 to 3 days. [Pg.262]
