Geotextiles in livestock applications

Geotextiles are also widely used on livestock farms for driveway and livestock path reinforcement, livestock waste management, and protection. Details of each application will be discussed in the following sections. 

1 Geotextile felt for livestock path ground reinforcement 

Nonwoven geotextiles can help beef and dairy producers reduce or eliminate problems associated with mud. Fall and spring rains reduce cattle areas into mucky, dangerous areas for their herds.
