GENESIS and the Future

This instrument flew on three missions SOHO, WIND, and ACE, where it has returned information about solar wind isotopes confirming the meteoritical abundances for the proto-solar nebulae [27], as well as identifying boundaries in the solar wind. With more than enough resolution to detect 170, why then was the GENESIS mission funded to return samples of the solar wind [22] Well, the problem turned out to be the C-foil once again.
