Foldable container

There are also bellows-style collapsible plastic containers such as bottles that are foldable [12, 406]. As shown in Figures S-12 and 5-13, the technology of foldable containers in contrast to that of the usual passive bottles provides advantages and conveniences such as reduced storage, transportation, and disposal space prolonged... 

Figure C2.5.10. The figure gives tire foldability index ct of 27-mer lattice chains witli sets containing different number of amino acids. The sets are generated according to scheme described in [27], The set of 20 amino acids is taken as a standard sample. Each sequence witli 20 amino acids is optimized to fulfil tire stability gap [5]. The residues in tire standard samples are substituted witli four different sets containing a smaller number of amino acids [27]. The foldability of tliese substitutions is indicated by tire full circles. The open diamonds correspond to tire sequences witli same composition. However, tire amino acids are chosen from tire reduced representation and tire resultant sequence is optimized using tire stability gap [5].

Powder samples are not usually measured by DMA due to difficulty in containing them. However, a recent innovation by Triton Technology Ltd [15] enables such samples to be analysed in a simple manner. The Materials Pocket for powders and films consists of a foldable metal sheet (see Figure 4.20). Alternatively measurements are possible in compression, but this geometry never has the sensitivity of normal bending modes. 

A calorimetric chamber is used for periods of between a day and a week or even longer. So the chamber has to be as similar to a living room as possible, although its volume has to be limited to improve the response time and accuracy of the system. Chambers contain, in addition to the necessary sensors, air locks for the transfer of food, excreta and blood samples, etc. and some utilities for comfortable housing the subjects. This includes a foldable bed, personal hygiene facilities, a desk and chair, some consumer electronics and typically some workout equipment like a bicycle ergometer. An example of a chamber is shown in Figure 1.
