Non-Metallic Materials Numerous engineering thermoplastics have been commercialised including materials such as polyetherether ketone (PEEK) and polyether sulphate (PES) with much improved thermal/chemical resistance. The usage of FRP equipment has increased, and fluoropolymer lining technology/applications have come of age.
