The statute covers all employers and their employees in all the states and federal territories, with certain exceptions. Generally, the statute does not cover self-employed persons, farms employing solely family members, and those workplaces covered under other federal statutes. Refiners must evaluate whether the chemicals they manufacture and sell are hazardous. Under the General Duty Clause of OSHA, employers are required to provide an environment that is free from recognized hazards that could cause physical harm or death. 

The normal benefit under 20(2) and (4) SGB II is a lump-sum amount that is supposed to cover all living expenses. From 1 July 2008, this amount has been fixed at a standard rate of EUR 351 throughout the federal territory. Benefits for accommodation and heating are specified in 22 SGB II. Their amount is equivalent to the actual expenses, provided these are reasonable. 

Each country is not only a receptor but also a source of the trans-boundary transport. As much as 153 t (60% of anthropogenic emission in Europe) of cadmium, emitted in Europe, leaves the territory of the counties and is involved in the long-range transport. The highest absolute value—30 t/yr—of cadmium transported across national borders was obtained for Poland. The significant exporters of cadmium are Spain, the Russian Federation, Romania and Italy. Nearly 40 t of cadmium is transported outside the European Union. Besides, only nine countries control more than 75% of cadmium trans-boundary transport.

Departments or boards of health and industrial hygiene services are integral parts of the organization of all states, the District of Columbia, and the autonomous territories of the United States, as well as the federal and provincial governments of Canada and all developed nations. 

Those States and territories were Austria, Belgium, China, Hong Kong SAR of China, Czech Republic, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States. 

Although the FDA s Office of General Counsel is involved with enforcement of both civil and criminal matters, cases involving court enforcement are handled by assistant U.S. attorneys (AUSAs), who are located in U.S. attorneys offices located across the United States. U.S. attorneys are the local representatives of the DOJ they are appointed by and serve at the discretion of the president, with advice and consent of the Senate. There are 93 U.S. attorneys, and they are located (by district) across the United States and its territories. Each U.S. attorney is the chief federal law enforcement officer of the United States within his or her particular district. 

Both U.S. and international chemical manufacturers must comply with state and local environmental regulations, some of which may be more severe than federal regulations. This is a convenient index to state agencies in the United States and its territories.

In 1996, the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) set up a federal advisory committee composed of members with interests ranging from the environmental and agricultural communities to state and local governments.
