3 Federal Republic of Germany Recommendation on halogenated hydrocarbons 

In the Federal Republic of Germany, volatile halogenated hydrocarbons in ground water and drinking water are covered by a recommendation issued by the Federal Health Ministry (Federal Health Gazette 25 No. 3 of March 1982). This proposes a maximum concentration of 25 pg/1 as a mean annual value for the total of the following four compounds  

A mean annual value of 25 pg/1 is also set for the following volatile halogenated organic solvents in drinking water
